Leslie
H. Korman,

Mr. Korman obtained a B.S.C. degree in 1957 from Roosevelt University
and has been involved in real estate ever since. Prior to starting the Leslie
H. Korman Company, an Industrial Real Estate firm in 1968, Mr. Korman was
associated with the Alfred L. Rouske Co. and the Gerald H. Lurie Co., both
of which were actively involved in the sale, development and leasing of industrial
real estate. During those years, Mr. Korman was involved in numerous transactions
as a broker. As a developer, Mr. Korman built over 500,000 square feet of
build-to-suit and spec buildings.
William
A. Lederer,

Mr. Lederer received his B.A. degree from the University of Arizona. Prior
to the formation of Korman Lederer & Associates in 1980, Mr. Lederer was
a Vice President of Arthur Rubloff & Co. for ten years and was actively
involved with industrial and office facilities in both development, leasing
and sales. Mr. Lederer has also represented his family in the development
and leasing of over 1,000,000 square feet of industrial/office incubator space
in the Seventies while at Rubloff.
Harlan
S. Korman,

Harley Korman has been with Korman/Lederer since 1983. He is responsible
for marketing and major tenant representation throughout the metropolitan
Chicago area. During his tenure, Mr. Korman has been involved in over 450
transactions with a total value approaching one billion dollars.
On the user side, Mr. Korman has represented a wide variety of companies including
CDW Computer Centers, Underwriters Laboratories, Dove International and Walgreen
Company. In addition, he has represented major landlords including CenterPoint
Properties, Mass Mutual, First Industrial and Northern Builders.
Mr. Korman has a BA from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and work
in continuing education in real estate. He is affiliated with several professional
organizations and sits on the board of numerous charities in Chicagoland.
Patrick
D. Lederer,

Patrick D. Lederer has been a licensed real estate broker representing
industrial and office clients since 1990. In that time he has completed hundreds
of transactions for both institutional and entrepreneurial users. Mr. Lederer’s
skills include tenant representation for leasing and purchasing, strong negotiation
skills, acquisition/disposition for users and investors, financial analysis
and construction administration. While his specialty is industrial real estate,
he has completed deals involving retail, office and land. Mr. Lederer has
also developed numerous projects including land development/entitlements and
speculative industrial/office projects for sale and lease.
Mr. Lederer has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Institute of
Technology and a MM from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
He is active in numerous professional organizations including the Association
of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE - President 2006), and a member of
the Industrial and Commercial Development Commission for the Village of Northbrook
(ICDC) and has earned the professional designation from Society of Industrial
and Office Realtors. Mr. Lederer is a board member of Porchlight Musical Theater
Chicago and a director of Western Golf Association.
Mr. Lederer lives with his wife, 2 children and hyper golden retriever in
Glencoe, Illinois.
Peter
Balyeat,

Peter Balyeat has been with Korman/Lederer since 2001. During his time
with Korman/Lederer, Mr. Balyeat has represented many tenants in the North
Suburban and surrounding office markets. He is also responsible for the marketing
and representation of the firm’s overall office portfolio. Whether it
is 1,000 square feet or 50,000 square feet, Mr. Bayleat’s expertise
has resulted in maximizing his client’s opportunities and providing
creative and flexible transactions.
Mr. Balyeat received a BA in history and a minor in philosophy from Ohio
Wesleyan University. While attending the University, Mr. Balyeat played four
years of baseball and was named captain of the team in his senior year. Mr.
Balyeat is active in many professional organizations and has taken part in
the Leadership Program in Northbrook.
